Sacred Spaces with God...

In hunting for beauty and truth, I found sacred spaces with God.

Spaces that...

• honor the stories my body has held onto for over 40 years

• stop trying to figure out life and instead be present in the current moment

• have taken my breath away as I discover the beauty of His creation all around me

• bring rest to my soul

• reclaim me

• see what is instead of being blinded by what isn't

• release to Him what I am not meant to carry

• choose gratitude right in the middle of what is hard in life as an act of worship

• celebrate being me!

Tonight, as I sat and watched the sunset, my breath was taken away by the beauty He had painted in the sky for me to see.

Tonight, I am reminded of the quote from Maya Angelou, " Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away."

Tonight, I feel more in love with my God, knowing He is holding me as His daughter under this amazing sunset and enjoying the beauty together.
