I will be the same until your old age, and I will bear you up when you turn gray. I have made you, and I will carry you, I will bear and rescue you. (Isaiah 46:3-4 CSB)

There are days when my heart needs to be reminded of the truth that God remains the same no matter the season and faithfully carries me. How about you?

In The Message translation of Isaiah 46:3-4, it says, "...I've been carrying you on my back from the day you were born, And I'll keep on carrying you when you're old. I'll be there, bearing you when you're old and gray. I've done it and will keep doing it, carrying you on my back, saving you." Take a moment, close your eyes, and envision the scene painted in these verses... you are being carried by God!

He is faithfully carrying you ...

on the days when you feel all alone

on those days when you are thriving and joy flows from you

on the days when your guilt and shame are suffocating you

on the days when you are struggling with anxiety and fear over the future

on those days when you embrace the adventure which He has invited you to

Today, are you feeling carried by our Lord? If not, maybe you are carrying something that you are not intended to, which is holding you back from climbing on God's faithful back.

Come on, let go of that which is holding you back and let God carry you in His backpack!
